Kia Sorento GT-Line Brings Sporty Bling to Sorento Family

The Kia Sorento is generally considered an excellent all-round SUV. It’s comfortable, it’s very pleasant to drive, has a choice of two gutsy engines – go for the diesel its powerful and economical – practical and it even looks good. And if you plump for the top of the range, the Kia Sorento Platinum you’ll get goodies such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and much more.

But what if you think the Sorento Platinum doesn’t have enough bling? Kia has the answer with the new Kia Sorento GT Line. Based on the Sorento Platinum, the Sorento GT-Line adds raunchy red leather, side steps, steering wheel-mounted flappy paddles for greater driver involvement.

There are also “Ice Cube” day time running lights as per the Sportage Platinum and the Sorento GT-Line gets polished wheels with red brake callipers, along with side steps.

But is it worth the $3500 premium over the Platinum? Read our update on Kia Sorento GT-Line review to find out.
