Hyundai Elantra SR brings sporty flavour to the Hyundai Elantra package
The new Hyundai Elantra has proven itself to be a great small car, and certainly a worthy contender of the likes of the Toyota Corolla and Mazda. However, if you want your Elantra with a little more oomph, the Hyundai Elantra SR might be the same 1.6 litre turbo found in the Hyundai Veloster, which is mated to Hyundai’s seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
On the road the Elantra SR feels eager and intent, and cosmetically this reflected by red highlights found all over the exterior of the car, leather seats with red stitching and a chunky flat-bottomed steering wheel with the ever-so mandatory shift paddles.
