Toyota Prius V marries MPV practicality to hybrid efficiency
Toyota Australia offers its Prius nameplate in three flavours: the compact Prius C, the third generation Prius hatch and the Prius V people mover, which we’re driving this week. More specifically, the range topping Prius V i-Tech, which has goodies such as leather seats, heads up display, adaptive cruise control and satellite navigation.
We’ve only had our Toyota Prius V briefly, but we’re impressed by its beautifully made interior, the crisp and convenient heads up display and the high driving position. Similarly, we like how Toyota has managed to fit seven seats into a car that isn’t all that much larger than an average hatchback.
However, we’re not sure if the centrally mounted instrument cluster will appeal to all motorists and performance can be best described as well…relaxed.
