Toyota 86 coupe offers a driving experience that matches its slinky styling

The popular and acclaimed Toyota 86 coupe is our car for this week, in range topping GTS guise, no less. The Toyota 86 has so far proved itself to be far more than a two-door fashion statement: the handling is sharp and entertaining, passengers sit low and snug in sports seats and all of the key driving controls easily fall to hand.

Despite being very good, the little sportster isn’t perfect-equipment levels are on the stingy side, the ride is hard and that Subaru Boxer engine desperately needs more power to not only add to driving enjoyment, but to maximise the chassis’ potential. Full review at the end of the week.
