Suzuki Swift Sport provides honest and cheap thrills
The Suzuki Swift Sport is the car facing our scrutiny this week. The little hot hatch combines the entertaining handling of the standard Swift while packing the gruntier 1.6 litre engine and CVT transmission from the S-Cross hatch. The Swift Sport also gains grippy bucket seats and a more aggressive exterior treatment and in the case of our test car, eye-popping yellow paint work.
To date, we’ve fallen for the Swift Sport’s energetic nature, it’s smile inducing handling, it’s styling-okay, yellow-aside and most importantly that it legitimately feels like a hot hatch, albeit on a budget.
