Subaru teams up with DriveMyCar to offer the new Subaru Impreza for $199 a week
Subaru has once again joined forces with peer-to-peer car rental platform DriveMyCar in offering DriveMyCar users one of 101 brand new Subaru Imprezas for $199 per week.
The deal is said to be targeted at prospective UberX drivers who want enjoy the flexibility and work life balance that Uber offers, but may not own a car or own a car that is up to scratch.
Additionally, UberX drivers who pick up one of the new Subaru Imprezas won’t have to worry about long term ownership costs, and the program can help users make a more informed decision before they sign on dotted line and handover their hard earned.
“Following the success of the deployment of 10 of our Levorg wagons through DriveMyCar, we have kicked it up a gear by offering 101 Imprezas through the peer-to-peer platform,” said Colin Christie, Managing Director, Subaru Australia.
“This supports our ‘101 stories’ initiative, which we used to launch new Impreza, with huge success, based on customer uptake.
“DriveMyCar is taking-off and having these vehicles available for rent through the peer-to-peer platform will allow thousands of potential customers to experience the new Impreza in real life, in a ‘try before you buy’ scenario or as an UberX passenger.”
Chris Noone, CEO, DriveMyCar, added: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our customers such a sought-after car and at a really competitive price. We think they will love it!”
The 101 vehicles will be available to try from the 15th of March and in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
