Benz has announced the price for its barnstorming AMG GLC 63 S 4MATIC+ SUV and 4MATIC+ Coupe.
Described as Australia’s fastest SUV the duo can blast from 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds, courtesy of a 375kW twin turbo 4.0-litre V8.
Priced from $164,900 for the wagon and $171,900 for the coupe, both models are expected to arrive in Australia by the end of the year.
The dynamic duo feature air suspension with adaptive adjustable damping, all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution, a limited slip diff and a high-performance brakes.
Visually linking the GLC 63 S models with the Mercedes-AMG sports car family is the AMG Panamericana grille, which was previously reserved for AMG GT models.

“The result is an SUV that can be driven with high precision and agility and which, if required, is equally at home on a high-speed lap of the race track,” he said.
