Nissan Introduces Five Year Unlimited Kilometre Warranty

Nissan Announces Five Year Unlimited Warranty on all new models

Nissan is the latest of a number of manufacturers including Volkswagen, Toyota, Mazda and Holden to announce an extended new car warranty. Effective immediately, all new Nissan models – including the all-new second generation Leaf to be launched in August – sold to private buyers will be backed by a five year/unlimited kilometre warranty.

Nissan is also throwing in free roadside assistance for the duration of the warranty period.

The move to a long warranty comes as consumers place greater emphasis on aftersales support.

“Five year warranty provides our customers with both confidence in the Nissan Brand and our vehicles,” said Nissan Australia managing director Stephen Lester.

“Nissan is committed to delivering the best total ownership experience, and whether its sales, service or finance, warranty plays an important role in delivering complete customer satisfaction.”
