New Kia Stinger V6 range to start from $48,990
The Kia Stinger V6 range looks like it may cause some pain to a number of rivals, with Kia Australia announcing sharp pricing for all V6 models.
The range will kick off with the Kia Stinger S, which will be priced from $48,990 and will include a limited slip diff, Brembo brakes, 18 inch wheels shod with Continental tyres, there’ll also be a rear camera and rear cross traffic alert, seven airbags, electric eight-way adjustment for the driver and LED daytime running lights.
On the entertainment front there’s Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth streaming and satellite navigation.
And the best part? That $48,990 Kia Stinger S is powered by the same twin-turbo 272kW 3.3 V6 that is mated to an eight-speed automatic and will blast to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds. Sounds like good value to us!
Stepping up to the mid-spec Si which is priced from $55,990 and you get emergency braking with forward collision warning, adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, automatic headlights and wipers and front parking sensors.
The infotainment screen is eight inches – over the base model’s seven-inch screen – and there’s a nine-speaker sound system with two under seat subwoofers.
Hand over $59,990 and you’ll get a Kia Stinger GT. And Kia has thrown everything at the top of the range Stinger. Standard equipment includes a 360 degree camera system, blind spot monitoring, swivelling LED headlights, a Harmon/Kardon stereo, wireless charging a full colour heads-up display, Nappa leather seats with electric bolster adjustment and thigh extenders. Predictably, there’s sports pedals and a smattering of GT logos inside.
