Hyundai Santa Fe Active X joins Hyundai Santa Fe Range

Value-focused Hyundai Santa Fe Active X priced from $40,990

Hyundai Santa Fe customers who want a touch of luxury with big performance on a budget may be tempted by the newest edition to the Hyundai Santa range, the Hyundai Santa Fe Active X.

Priced from $40,990 plus on road costs and other taxes, the Hyundai Santa Fe Active X is powered by a 3.3 litre petrol V6 that produces a healthy 199kW and 318Nm, that sends power to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic. This drivetrain is exclusive to the Santa Fe Active X, and is also found in some Kia Sorento models.

As per its Hyundai i30 Active X and Hyundai Tucson Active X stablemates, the Hyundai Santa Fe Active X adds a touch of luxury and bling for not a whole lot more money than the base models.

Additional equipment over the base Santa Fe Active includes: heated leather trimmed seats, automatic wipers, a chilled glovebox, an infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and tyre pressure monitoring.

Heated mirrors are fitted for extra convenience and 19 inch alloys, tinted windows and chrome door handles help the Hyundai Santa Fe Active X stand out from the base Active.

“New Santa Fe Series II Active X packages V6 power and smoothness with a host of desirable features at a surprisingly affordable price,” says Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Operating Officer, Scott Grant.

“For buyers who don’t need all-wheel-drive, Active X is a capable and exceptionally well-equipped Hyundai large SUV for under $41,000. And that’s big news in one of Australia’s most popular market segments.”
