Hyundai Announces Cut-Price i30 Go

New entry-level Hyundai i30 Go kicks off the Hyundai i30 range at $19,990

The Hyundai i30 has proven to be hugely successful for Hyundai Australia, with the third iteration of Hyundai’s sporty i30 SR recently winning Drive Car of the Year.

However, Hyundai has added a new budget-focussed model to the range, the i30 Go. Priced from $19,990, the i30 Go is equipped with an 8 inch colour multimedia touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – which means you can project maps from a compatible phone, there’s also tyre pressure monitoring, automatic headlights and a reversing camera.

On the safety front, there are seven airbags, Electronic Stability Control and Vehicle Stability Management.

A choice of drivetrains are available: a 120kW 2.0 GDi petrol engine which can be had with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic or a 100kW 1.6 litre turbo diesel which can be had either the manual or a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

Perhaps this could be a new fleet favourite for Hyundai.
