Holden reveals off-road ready limited edition Holden Colorado Z71 Xtreme
Holden has bolted on a heap of rough and ready accessories to its flagship Colorado Z71 and has branded the limited edition new model the Holden Colorado Z71 Xtreme.
The accessories fitted to the Z71 Xtreme include: modified front suspension, a winch system, a heavy duty bash plate, 18” Goodyear All Terrain Wrangler 265/60R18 tyres and vehicle recovery kit, an LED light bar, a complete towing package, fender flares, rear step, black side steps and grille and a smattering of “Xtreme” and “Colorado” branding. A bonnet helps to complete the look.
Holden marketing boss Andre Scott said the Z71 was developed in response to growing demand for off-road focused utes “the top end of LCV market continues to develop, and we’re seeing a growing number of customers demanding greater off-road capability.”
“The Colorado Xtreme was a concept car that resonated with our customers, and to not only put it into production, but elevate it, is very exciting,” said Holden’s Product Marketing Manager, Andre Scott.
“As a base vehicle, Colorado Z71 is already very capable, so we’ve expanded our Genuine Accessories range for additional off-road capability. Cue the Holden Winch system, the Xtreme’s hero accessory, which is a game-changer.”

The Holden Colorado Z71 Xtreme is powered by a 2.8 litre turbo diesel that produces 500Nm of torque, and allows the Z71 to tow up to 3.5 tonnes and will be priced from $69,000 when it trucks into Holden showrooms from October 1.
