Hennessey Announces 1000hp Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

American Tuner Hennessey Squeezes 1000hp out of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

Jeep has unleashed the fastest and most powerful SUV, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. The standard hyper Jeep churns out 519kW and 875Nm from a supercharged 6.2 litre HEMI V8.

Hennessey have taken this engine, and turned up the wick. A lot. They’ve upped supercharger boost to 14psi, added stainless steel headers, a high-flow supercharger bypass valve, upgraded high-flow fuel injectors and air induction system. The changes have resulted in a total power output of 754kW and 1314Nm. Wow.

Naturally, Grand Cherokees fitted with the Hennessey HPE1000 pack, will be quicker than their unmodified siblings, with Hennessey claiming the luxury SUV will blast from 0-100km/h in a neck snapping 2.8 seconds and the quarter mile will be demolished in 10.5 seconds.

Additional changes to the HPE1000 Trackhawk include Brembo brakes, bespoke titanium coated 20ich wheels shod with Pirelli tyres.

There’s also HPE1000 badges on the rump and sides and inside, there’s special floor mats and even a plaque signed by John Hennessey himself.

The HPE1000 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has not been confirmed for Australia.
