BMW has introduced a limited edition Mini Seven.
Available across all Mini three- and five-door variants, the Australian-exclusive Seven edition adds $5000 worth of extras to customers for just $2000 more, between now and the end of July.
The revived Seven nameplate is steeped in the history, based as it is on the first Mini ever – the Austin Seven – produced way back in 1959.
Exterior colours for the new Seven include Lapis Luxury Blue, Midnight Black, British Racing Green and Pepper White.
These options are complemented by contrast roof and mirror caps in Melting Silver combined with Melting Silver bonnet stripes, finished with fine Malt Brown pinstripes, as well as chrome side scuttles featuring the exclusive ‘Seven 7’ emblem.
The Cooper and Cooper D Seven models will be fitted with 17-inch Mini Seven two-tone alloy wheels, while the Cooper S will feature the 18-inch Mini Yours Vanity alloy wheels, along with the John Cooper Works rear spoiler (in Melting Silver) and the panorama glass roof.
The ‘Seven 7’ branding is carried over to the interior on all Mini variants, with badging on the door sills and the centre instrument surround.
Interior upgrades to the Cooper and Cooper D models include the Multimedia Essentials package (Navigation, Visual Boost Multimedia interface, Reversing camera and Bluetooth Audio streaming), as well as cloth/leather upholstery in Carbon Black topped off with Malt Brown detailing.
The Cooper S Seven will also feature the Mini Yours leather Lounge in carbon black, along with the MINI Yours leather steering wheel.
Prices start from $31,000 plus on roads.
