Subaru teases a daring new design language with the Subaru VIZIV concept car
Subaru has whipped the wraps off the VIZIV concept at the Geneva motor show. The VIZIV gives us a taste of Subaru’s new corporate design language, which the Japanese brand describes as a “BOLDER” design philosophy.
The BOLDER design philosophy appears to be a radical step away from the current “Dynamic x Solid” styling ethos, which is classy and elegant, but tends to err on the conservative side, a la Impreza, Liberty and Outback. The taillights on the new Forester are the wildest piece of design in Subaru’s current line-up.
The BOLDER design language is just that and the VIZIV has a swooping roofline, body cladding and chunky wheels with white highlights.
There’s also promised off-road ability and we suspect the VIZIV may serve as design inspiration for the new next generation Impreza and XV.
What do you think of the new look?
