Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate Will Reach 100km/h in 1.5 Seconds

Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate will rule Go-Kart tracks across the land

Tesla showed us that electric cars can be fast, very fast in fact, especially in the case of the Model S P100D, which will whir from 0-100km/h in a neck-snapping 2.6 seconds. Yet the mentalists at Canadian Go-Kart firm Daymak have come up with something that makes the Model S P100D look and feel a little, well slow.

Meet the Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate. It’ll rocket from 0-100km/h in 1.5 seconds. The Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate, like the Tesla, isn’t powered the work of satan, but a 10kW brushless DC motor to be exact, which is fed by 2400 Watt-hour Lithium Panasonic Cells.

Daymak says that “our technology is just at the early stage. We plan to roll out other cool products, that will take us to a completely different dimension.” So that means there is faster stuff coming?

The Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart Ultimate is priced from around $79,000 Aussie dollars, a little steep for a go-kart, but think of the bragging rights.

If the Ultimate is a little too expensive and or mental for you, you can also buy the Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart Standard which’ll do the 0-100km/h sprint in a tamer 3.9 seconds. The Standard retails for around $13,000.
