The most luxurious Range Rover in history, the Range Rover SVAutobiography

Meet the Range Rover SVAutobiography. It’s the work of Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) division, and they proudly claim that the Range Rover SVAutobiography is the most luxurious Rangie ever.

The SVAutobiography is offered in long-wheel base form, has two individual Executive Class seats, that recline, offer 22 options for adjustment, have calf and foot rears and can even give the privileged rear passengers a heated stone massage. Being rich is hard work, after all.

Should you need to work while you are chauffeured along, there are electrically operated rear tables and screens with 4G Wi-Fi compatibility, so you can make those important executive decisions on the move. Should you wish to celebrate your successes, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a fridge that can hold two wine bottles – or perhaps champagne bottles – or four 600ml bottles. Whichever you choose.

There’s a centre console that runs the length of the cabin, and passengers can close the rear doors at the touch of a button, because closing a door yourself is just a little too proletariat.

Customers who intend on using their Range Rover SVAutobiography to regularly carry luggage, may want to opt for the retracting cargo floor, which should make loading those suitcases a little easier.

Up front there’s a special Zenith timepiece for added exclusivity. Jaguar Land Rover’s Touch Pro Duo dual screen infotainment system is fitted for added convenience.

A number of powertrain options will be available, including a 416kW V8 that’ll propel the presidential suite on wheels from 0-100km/h in just 5.5 seconds.

Gerry McGovern, Chief Design Officer, Land Rover, said: “We continue to refine and hone our flagship Range Rover. Highly sophisticated and with a unique combination of British sensibilities, the Range Rover SVAutobiography reinforces Range Rover’s status of peerless excellence.”

Land Rover Australia is taking orders for the Range Rover SVAutobiography now, with prices starting from a handsome $372,400.
